The Interscholastic Climbing League (ICL) is a co-ed, team-based climbing league for school-age students, led by coaches and supported by High Point Climbing and Fitness.
The league gives students across the Chattanooga area the chance to learn new skills, stay active, and build friendships through the sport of climbing in a fun, encouraging environment.
Promote healthy, active lifestyles for students across Southeast Tennessee through climbing.
Build confidence and a love for the sport by focusing on safety, skill development, and teamwork.
Foster community and connection through friendly, team-oriented competitions.
The ICL season runs November through February. Some teams practice year-round, while others climb only during the competition season.
Meets are usually held Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at either Riverside or Downtown, with start times of 4:30–6:00 PM or 6:30–8:00 PM.
Check the calendar below for the exact days and locations. Meets don’t occur every weeknight.
Teams also practice outside of meet times. Riverside has a structured schedule to keep things organized, while Downtown practices are more flexible due to greater capacity.
